Santa in recession

This is a recession Christmas
Santa’s busy clipping coupons
To buy the teddies and toys
For special little girls and boys
Santa’s naughty list is longer
And his dress is fading away
Santa’s in a misery
he does not have enough toys for Christmas day
Santa’s boots are getting old and broken
He has been loosing some pounds
His sleigh is also broken
And he has to run around
Its getting more cold and frosty
And Santa wants to stay inside
By the fire with a cup of hot chocolate
Chimneys are not fun to slide
Santa’s looking for a new job
Passing toys is not so fun
With price climbing and a budget so tight
He wants to do a different run.
